WASHING MACHINE PROBLEMS

WILL NOT TURN ON OR TUMBLE

When your dryer will not turn on, you first will want to be positive the dryer is plugged in and that every one of the circuit breakers are flipped on. If the machine is plugged in and still will not turn on or tumble, the high-limit thermostat, heating element or cycling thermostat will need to be repaired or replaced.

WON’T SHUT OFF

The opposite problem is if the dryer won’t shut off. The reason for this particular issue is usually either a broken door switch or timer.

TIMER WILL NOT ADVANCE

A dryer timer is required to advance in order to complete the cycle. When the timer will not advance, it might mean there is a broken cycling thermostat or timer motor.
